The students who have not appeared for HPU Entrance test , shall appear for entrance test on 26th july 2024 at 11 AM in Govt College Solan

Hostel Admission for First year students is open online.  First year admitted students can apply for hostels from their dashboard.

The last date to apply for Hostel Admission is July 27,2024 for students of all years.Physical Counselling for 1st Year students will be held on July 29 and July 30, 2024. The students are directed to bring their hostel forms along with identity/residential proofs of parents and local guardian. It is mandatory for every student to bring their parents or local guardian for counselling otherwise admission to hostel will stand cancelled.

Final year students can apply for character certificate online through student portal.

For the students of 2nd and 3rd year, the ABC(Academic Bank of Credits) ID is Mandatory at the time of admission. To create ABC ID , one must go through Digilocker.

ADMISSION SCHEDULE

STEPS FOR ONLINE ADMISSION (FOR NEW STUDENTS ONLY)

Step1: Login to the College Website: www.gcsolan.ac.in. Click for online admission and register yourself.

Step 2: Login with user name and password.

Step 3: Fill the application details and upload required certificates.

Step 4: Submit the application and pay the prospectus fee.

Step 5: Check the merit list online/offline from college.

Step 6:  Fill Anti-Ragging Affidavit Duly filled and signed and download at following link:

Anti ragging form will be submitted only at the time of counseling (No need to upload this at the admission portal)

Step 6: Once counseling is done, pay the fee online using your username and  password.

For Counseling Candidate must appear before respective admission committee in person

Note: Candidates should note down their Login and Password.

IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:

• Copy of Matriculation
• Copy of duly Attested Testimonials (+2 Class onwards)
• Original Character Certificate issued by last institute attended
• Copy of Aadhar Card
• Migration Certificate (original)
• Certificate of Bonafide Himachali (for girls who belong to H.P.)
• Affidavit for gap year if there is break in continuity after last exam passed.
• Anti-Ragging Affidavit Duly filled and signed.

NOTE: Take a print of the application form submitted online and attach all the documents uploaded while filling online form. All original certificates must be produced at the time of Admission/Counselling.
